Funnily enough, I was doing a Google picture search on Madeleine Smith as I was getting this post ready to go, and erm, 'noted' a couple of pics in particular were on the 'busty' side. I met Madeleine at an autograph fair 3 or 4 years ago, she was charming and happily chatted and signed my Bond picture. But I couldn't help being a little unnerved by the fact that she now looks like a sweet old granny. When you see celebs age on TV you don't notice it, but I doubt I've seen her since the late 70's, so it was a bit of a shock. I have a photo I took of her somewhere, will did it out!

PS - I had an e-mail from Steve over the weekend, and he's very kindly agreed to write another chapter, so look out for that soon!

PPileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15540380685492699957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47636629640428119.post-42246613679318311202010-07-01T17:39:21.407+01:002010-07-01T17:39:21.407+01:00All that talk of Trade Unions really nails the era...All that talk of Trade Unions really nails the era, doesn't it! Nice to also see a few old names like Madeleine Smith mentioned - she was the obligatory vast-bosomed girl who always cropped up in 'certain' films. My Dad had a bit of an eye for her.

And it makes me ashamed (again) that I've never seen Lawrence of Arabia! After all his hard work, I really should now add it to the Lovefilm list.

What a nice man. Thanks to him, and you, for some really enjoyable reading.Kolley Kibberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07055145770836351738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47636629640428119.post-20772281809503216602010-06-30T21:15:39.459+01:002010-06-30T21:15:39.459+01:00there'll be a test at the end y'know Warbl...there'll be a test at the end y'know Warble...

PPileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15540380685492699957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47636629640428119.post-28739592266577036572010-06-30T12:17:19.992+01:002010-06-30T12:17:19.992+01:00Fascinating stuff. You always see these names in the credits and for decades have gone 'what the bloody hell is that then?!'. Now we know!

Heff - Passed me by as well did that one. As did the 'transatlantic' sit-com 'A Birds Eye View' - Shown both here and in the states. They always struck me as very camp, like you'd find them sat either side of the director's chair stroking his legs.Artoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01846359529440273892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47636629640428119.post-80940129406484614192010-06-29T15:41:22.429+01:002010-06-29T15:41:22.429+01:00"The Devil's Widow" ??
